CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Hand wash with soap and warm water. Do not submerge or place the board in standing water, as this may cause the board to warp.
After washing, dry immediately with a towel and allow some time for it to air dry. We recommend either placing the board in a rack or standing it on its side so the board can dry uniformly.
Once the board is completely dry, apply a liberal amount of Moose & Beeswax Wood Conditioner to all surface areas. Alternatives like butcher block, coconut, or mineral oils could also be used. Allow this to soak in for a few hours, if not longer. Remove any excess oil with a dry cloth.
For stains or odors (garlic or onions being the likely culprit), you can apply lemon juice or white vinegar. Let it sit for a few minutes and remove any residue with a damp towel.
For goodness sake, please don’t put your board in the dishwasher.
