CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  • Hand wash with soap and warm water. Do not submerge or place the board in standing water, as this may cause the board to warp.

  • After washing, dry immediately with a towel and allow some time for it to air dry. We recommend either placing the board in a rack or standing it on its side so the board can dry uniformly.

  • Once the board is completely dry, apply a liberal amount of Moose & Beeswax Wood Conditioner to all surface areas. Alternatives like butcher block, coconut, or mineral oils could also be used. Allow this to soak in for a few hours, if not longer. Remove any excess oil with a dry cloth.

  • For stains or odors (garlic or onions being the likely culprit), you can apply lemon juice or white vinegar. Let it sit for a few minutes and remove any residue with a damp towel.

  • For goodness sake, please don’t put your board in the dishwasher.
